Cambridge Advanced Imaging Centre

 

CAIC's first annual meeting - a day long event for research groups across the University involved in CAIC, from biology to imaging technology and analysis, to meet and discuss their research.

I am happy to announce that the Cambridge Advanced Imaging Centre (CAIC) will be holding it's first annual meeting on bioimaging research and applications on Friday 27th March 2015. The purpose of the meeting is to bring together researchers from all disciplines involved in microscopy, from the biological questions being studied to those developing advanced microscopes and those researching data analysis algorithms.

The Schedule will be confirmed closer to the date but will likely be as follows:

  • 9:30 - 10:00 Coffee and registration
  • 10:00 - 11:10 Advanced fluorescence imaging session
  • 11:10 - 11:30 short break
  • 11:30 - 12:15 Image and data analysis session
  • 12:15 - 13:15 Lunch
  • 13:15 - 14:30 Biological research session 1
  • 14:30 - 14:50 short break
  • 14:50 - 16:00 Biological research session 2
  • 16:00 onwards: posters, cake and beverages.
