Congratulations to Ruth! After passing her viva she is officially CAIC's first finished PhD student. Well done Dr Sims!
Her thesis is titled Volumetric imaging across spatio-temporal scales in biology with fluorescence microscopy. Her work focuses on light sheet and light field imaging modalities to improve imaging speed and depth of field at both millimetre and micrometre scales.
